What: The Garden continues to strive to meet the lofty goals set more than a century ago. The Chicago Botanic Garden, with its world-renowned plant collections and displays, is one of the country's most visited public gardens and a preeminent center for learning and scientific research.
The 385-acre Garden features 23 display gardens and three native habitats, uniquely situated on nine islands surrounded by lakes, where beautiful sunsets, sparkling lights, outdoor dining and family adventures await, and jazz, swing, blues, Cajun, and Latin music fill the air.

FREE Digital fingerprint and photo program for all of the children that attend! This specialized euipment tours the country and will only be at North Shore Auto Group during the following times!
FBI quality digital fingerprints and photographs. S.I.P. Kids will take a child’s picture with equipment that interacts with our custom software. The software then captures the children’s fingerprints, using digital inkless fingerprint capture device, and includes them as part of the child’s file. The parent is provided with an 8 ½ by 11-inch printout, containing the photograph and the fingerprints. The parents can use the copy they receive to turn directly over to authorities anywhere in the world to instantly aid in an investigation.
No Data Basing: No records of the visit are maintained. The only record of the visit will go home directly with parents for safekeeping. S.I.P. Kids will not take any personal information from the children. A photo and fingerprints are taken and parents fill in the personal profile for their records once they are in the privacy of their own home.

Ravinia Festival
Where: 200 Ravinia Park Road Highland Park, IL 60035
What: Ravinia is an outdoor entertainment venue located in Highland Park, just north of Chicago, featuring a variety of acts such as classical, pop, contemporary, blues and jazz. The pavilion holds 3,200 reserved seats, but the main attraction is picnicking on the lawn. General admission tickets are available for lawn seating, where the guests bring lavish picnics, often with tables, tablecloths, candles, and crystal. Some choose to purchase their meals at one of several onsite restaurants or preorder a gourmet boxed meal and wine. Note that the music is broadcast to the lawn, but you cannot see the stage unless you're in reserved seats in the pavilion. Rental lawn chairs are available. The venue also features a gift shop. Ravinia is a smoke-free environment.

10th Annual Highland Park Festival of Fine Craft
Where: Sheridan Road between Central Avenue and Elm Place
What: 145 craftspeople from across the U.S. will display and sell their unique jewelry, furniture, ceramics, glass, wearable art, and sculpture on Sheridan road in front of the center. Demonstrations and hand-on activities will provide fun for all ages. A children's activity tent completes this fun and educational event.
